Also this particular model seemed to have just what I wanted.....good picture, fast speed, wi-fi and 3D. Well, connecting to Netflix is a joke. Try watching a movie that stops to buffer every 5 minutes..NIGHTMARE. I called Philips support who blamed Netflix and my internet connection speed. I had just replaced my Liksys 2.4ghz which worked perfectly well for a linksys 5.00ghz in preparation for seamless streaming so I KNEW it wasn't that. I also could run 4 computers and a Wii without any problems. I got nowhere and gave up watching Netflix for a few weeks till I purchased a brand new TV with internet apps. I connected the TV to my home network and VOILA....Netflix streamed perfectly. So it WAS the Philips player. At this point I wasn't TOO worried because I could stream without using the Philips player and the picture for DVDs and Bluray was good. We got a dud player, but the seller was great., February 14, 2012 By MomToABeautifulPrincess (Gorgeous Charlotte, NC) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Philips BDP7520/F7 Wi-Fi Ready Blu Ray Player with Full HD 3D and BD Live, Black (Electronics) Unfortunately, this unit, which my husband researched extensively, was only available refurbished, and we got a dud. It wouldn't play blu-rays, only standard DVDs. Props both to Phillips, though, and to the seller, both of whom offered to replace it. We were hesitant to go with Phillips in case the second one was a dud and in case the process took longer than the return period with the seller, and in fact, even though the seller offered to replace it as well, the whole refurbished thing not working kind of scared us away from trying another. Phillips customer service was great, though, which would of course encourage us to buy more Phillips products, and the seller handled the matter beautifully, just as Amazon would had Amazon been the direct seller in this case. Thank you!
